Have you used Fiverr.com? #SummerAMA

I had almost completely forgotten about this site/service, until just today when one of the speakers at the AMA conference I’m attending in Chicago mentioned it. During Stukent’s Bootcamp event, marketing strategy instructor and general digital guru, Scott Cowley (Arizona State University) introduced the idea of using Fiverr.com in a marketing course.

Neat! But how?

He’s proposed to have students launch a successful Fiverr.com service. Now naturally this could range from any sort of service – from designing a logo, to setting up a podcast, to writing a blog post in English – or Dutch! Regardless, of the creative service your students are willing to launch, the idea is to give them an opportunity to further market themselves within the realm of their existing online personality and presence.

I’ll be giving this some thought and would enjoy hearing from anyone else who has embarked on this bold and innovative mission.
